The vision of the NGCS is to see Africans Claiming Africa For Christ!
The vision for Nairobi Great Commission School (NGCS) began in 1988 when national leaders of the Kenya Churches of Christ together with some missionaries saw the need for further training of the church leaders. Having the goal in mind to provide both academic and experiential training in the African context , equipping men and women for ministry and missions in planting and maturing churches both locally and cross-culturally : “to go and make disciples of all nations . . . ” (Matt 28:19) and “to build up the body of Christ until we all arrive at the unity of faith and understanding that brings maturity towards the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:12 – 13).
