Our Nursery

Our nursery is a ministry for parents of 0 to 2 year-olds. "Rocking the babies will spoil them," child psychologists used to say. "We are willing to take that chance," reply the nursery volunteers. Come by the nursery on Sunday morning if you want to sign up to rock the babies, too!

The Nursery Vision

The Vision of the College Church of Christ Nursery is to be a consistent contact for new moms of our congregation, but more importantly for our visitors.

To make this nursery one that reaches out to overstressed, overworked, single or just “needing-some-support-and-guidance” kind of moms of our community.

To be known by these moms as such a comfortable, thoughtful and safe place to leave their babies that they soon see who God is and consider us their church home.

To creating such an interest in our congregation that there are waiting lists of nursery workers each week, and those that aren’t working are stopping by to get the names of the babies to pray over them and their family.

To be evident that we aren’t just a self-serving ministry but one that truly uses gifts that God gave each and everyone to work with Him to create a much bigger picture.
