We first heard Larry Burkett talk about money and faith on Focus on the Family in the mid-1980’s.  The introduction to Christian Financial Concepts ultimately led Gregg and I to become certified financial counselors with the ministry.  In 2000 CFC merged with Crown Ministries with Larry Burkett and Howard Dayton at the helm.  The new organization became Crown Financial Ministries whose mission reads: equipping people worldwide to learn, apply and teach God’s financial principles so they may know Christ more intimately, be free to serve Him, and help fund the Great Commission. The website provides financial and career tools as well as excellent articles on many money-related subjects.  If you feel so inclined you can follow along on your own journey with Crown’s Money Map in the following ways:
